XML to ordered JSON: what to expect
Keep XML elements, attributes and mixed text in an explicit JSON structure.
- Uses an ordered JSON mapping with name, attributes and children fields. Arbitrary JSON cannot be converted without this structure.
- Element and attribute names, namespaces and mixed text are retained. Declarations, comments and CDATA boundaries are omitted with a warning. DTDs, entities and processing instructions are refused.
- Up to 250,000 XML nodes and 64 levels of nesting.
