XLSX to CSV: what to expect
Convert worksheet values using an explicit data-only format.
- Data only: formatting, charts, pivots and workbook features are not preserved. CSV and JSON export require unique, nonempty text column headings. XLSX to ODS preserves ordinary cells without imposing a heading row.
- Formulas are never calculated; cached results are used with a warning and missing results are refused. Date-formatted Excel numbers remain serial numbers with a warning.
- Up to 20 sheets, 50,000 rows, 256 columns and one million cells; bounded ZIP/XML checks apply. Macros, external relationships and embedded objects are refused.
