OBJ to PLY: what to expect
Convert triangle geometry while preserving coordinate units and winding.
- Geometry only: materials, textures, animation, scenes and styling are not retained. Units are preserved as numbers and are never guessed.
- Binary or ASCII STL, triangle-only OBJ and ASCII PLY 1.0. Up to 300,000 vertices and 100,000 triangles; invalid or degenerate geometry is refused.
- STL output uses 32-bit coordinates, which may round higher-precision values.
